He is 13, he lives in Hereford, and he runs MH Valets himself. This page is the honest version of how that happened.
Who runs MH Valets?
MH Valets is run by Mason, a 13 year old from Hereford. He is the one who answers the phone, quotes the job, turns up, does the work and checks it over with you at the end. There is no call centre and no middleman.
He started because he wanted to earn his own money and did not fancy waiting until he was old enough for a Saturday job. Rather than ask for a handout, he saved, bought proper equipment, learned the process properly, and put a price list together.
Why book a 13 year old?
Because he has more to prove than anybody else you could call. A big firm can afford a bad day. Mason cannot. Every car he touches is a car that either earns him the next booking or does not, and he works like he knows it.
He is also learning fast. The kit he uses, snow foam, decontamination, steam cleaning, carpet extraction, ceramic wax, is the same kit the professionals use. He has taken the time to understand what each stage is actually for rather than just spraying and hoping.
When does he work?
Around school. That means after school on weekdays and most of the weekend. If you need a car done during a school day, message him anyway and he will tell you what is possible during the holidays.
What he stands on

- He will tell you if a cheaper package will do
- He walks the car with you before you pay
- If something is not right, he does it again
- He turns up when he says he will
Supporting a young person in business
Mason works with the knowledge and support of his family. Bookings are arranged through the number on this site, and a responsible adult is aware of where he is and what he is doing. If you would rather speak to a parent before booking, just say so when you get in touch and that is easily arranged.
Give him the job
One booking from one neighbour is how a business like this gets going. If your car needs doing anyway, it may as well be Mason who does it.
