He founded MH Valets, he runs it, and he carries out every job himself. This page is the honest version of how that came about.
Who runs MH Valets?
MH Valets is founded and run by Mason, an independent valeter based in Hereford. He is the one who answers the phone, quotes the job, turns up, does the work and checks it over with you at the end. There is no call centre and no middleman.
He started it because he wanted to build something of his own rather than wait for the right moment to come along. He saved, invested in professional grade equipment, learned the process properly, and had a full price list drawn up before he took a single booking.
Why book an independent?
Because the person who quotes the job is the person who does it. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor and nothing is rushed to hit a depot target. A large firm can absorb a bad day. An independent building a reputation cannot, and that difference tends to show in the finish.
The equipment is the same equipment the established firms use. Snow foam, exterior decontamination, steam cleaning, carpet extraction and ceramic wax. Mason has taken the time to understand what each stage is actually for rather than spraying and hoping, and he will happily explain any of it if you ask.
When does he work?
Evenings through the week and most of the weekend. If you need a car done during the working day, message him anyway and he will tell you what is possible, particularly during the holidays.

How bookings are arranged
Every booking is arranged directly through the number on this site, and Mason runs his diary with the knowledge and support of his family. If you would prefer to speak to someone else in the family before confirming a job, say so when you get in touch and that is easily arranged.
Put him to work
If the car needs doing anyway, it may as well go to someone who will take real care over it and stand behind the result.
