Everything people usually ask before booking a mobile valet, answered plainly. If your question is not here, just call or message and ask it directly.
How much does a car valet cost in Hereford?
With MH Valets a mini valet starts at 50 pounds, a standard valet at 70 pounds, a full valet at 90 pounds and a deluxe valet at 120 pounds. A maintenance plan starts at 50 pounds per visit.
Every one of those is a starting price for a standard sized car in normal condition. The exact figure is agreed with you before any work begins.
How long does a car valet take?
A mini valet takes roughly one to two hours, a standard valet two to three hours, a full valet three to four hours and a deluxe valet four to six hours. Larger or heavily soiled vehicles take longer, and Mason gives you an expected time when he quotes.
Do you come to my house?
Yes. MH Valets is a mobile service. Mason travels to your home or your workplace anywhere in Hereford and the villages within roughly ten miles, and works on your driveway or in your parking space.
Do you need water and electricity?
Access to an outside tap and an outdoor power socket makes the job easier and is preferred. If you cannot offer either, say so when you book and Mason will plan around it rather than turn up and find out on the day.
Do I need to be at home while the car is valeted?
No. Plenty of customers leave the keys and go to work. Mason needs access to the vehicle and enough space to work safely around it. Just agree the arrangement when you book.
What is the difference between valeting and detailing?
Valeting is cleaning a car thoroughly inside and out. Detailing goes further and works on the condition of the paint and the surfaces themselves, using decontamination and protective coatings.
The mini and standard packages are valeting. The full and deluxe packages move into detailing, with exterior decontamination, wax sealant and ceramic wax coating.
Can you remove pet hair from car seats?
Yes. Pet hair removal is part of the standard valet and above. Heavy pet hair takes real extra time, so mention it when you book and Mason will price it fairly rather than surprise you at the end.
Can you get rid of smells inside the car?
Usually. Most smells sit in the carpets and fabric rather than the air, which is why the full valet includes a steam clean and carpet extraction. Smoke and damp are the two hardest, so be honest about what you are dealing with when you book and Mason will tell you what he can realistically achieve.
How do I pay?
Cash or bank transfer once the work is finished and you are happy with it. There is no deposit and nothing to pay up front.
What if I am not happy with the result?
Walk around the car with Mason before you pay. If something has been missed or needs another pass, he will do it there and then. That is the whole point of checking it together.
How old is Mason and does that matter?
Mason is 13 and he founded MH Valets himself. He works around school hours with the support of his family, and uses the same professional products and equipment as any other valeter.
People book him because the work is good, and because a lad building his first business has every reason to earn the next booking.
Can I book a regular valet rather than a one off?
Yes. The maintenance plan starts at 50 pounds and brings Mason back every three to six weeks to hold the finish. There is no contract and you can move or pause a visit whenever you need to.
Still got a question?
Ask it directly. Mason would rather answer it now than have you guess.
